NRG HISTORY

NRG Research was founded in 1989 with a focus on producing advanced power systems for semi-professional and professional video production. For several years the company operated from the former Walt Disney design building in Anaheim, CA. In 1991 the company and the majority of its employees relocated to Grants Pass, a beautiful small town nestled in a Southern Oregon mountain valley. NRG's early power products proved immensely popular and quickly became the standard of the emerging "prosumer" market. They were also well accepted by broadcast professionals. Building on its reputation for durable, versatile products at an affordable price, NRG soon branched into lighting with the introduction of a series of innovative lighting products.

Now, well over a decade later, the NRG product line has grown to encompass audio and workstation products through its Schriber Acoustic and Sonological brand lines. In total NRG offers over 300 products designed to meet the audio, power, and lighting needs of diverse markets.

	We are proud of our manufacturing and engineering resources. Many of our products are engineered and then assembled right here in NRG's Grants Pass, Oregon, production facility.
